Hailing from Orange County, the rapidly growing four-piece rock-band Movements has sprung their Spring 2025 tour into action. Seattle's Paramount Theatre gave them a warm welcome, and extended an invitation for them to come back real soon. This tour's lineup was stacked with Downward, Scowl, and Citizen–each opener brought the heat and didn't fail to amp up the crowd for the main show. Movements includes Ira George on the guitar, Spencer York on the drums, Austin Cressey on bass, and Patrick Miranda on vocals. Each member played their part in interacting with the crowd and keeping the energy high–making the show one heck of a, dare we say, ruckus? If you've ever been to a Movements show, then you know there will be crowd surfers. Seattle certainly had its fair share. Showgoers lucked out with a powerful setlist, including a handful of songs off their 2023 album, Ruckus!–"A.M.P.," "Killing Time," and "Tightrope" to name a few–as well as "Colorblind," "Deep Red," "Third Degree," and "Daylily" from 2017 album, Feel Something. A couple other crowd pleasers were "Where I Lay," which freshly released this past February , and "Kept." This fire setlist delivered a good mix of high-energy party songs with some of their more emotional tunes that hit hard. Since it has been some time since a new album has been released, Miranda hinted that new music might be on the way. All fans can do is wait for that day, and hope to see them back on the road again soon as this Spring tour comes to a close.
